Mr. Robson has developed six retirement communities in Arizona over the past 30 years. Robson Ranch Texas is the first Retirement community started by Mr. Robson outside of Arizona in 2001. The first homes at Robson Ranch in Denton were built in 2002 and to date there are 1500 homes that have been constructed. Robson Ranch is being built on 2700 acres in the city limits of Denton. Mr. Robson is the only builder in the Robson Communities and contractor crews are supervised and the quality maintained by Robson Project Managers. Robson Ranch new home sales are through a Build To Order – BTO process.

The new home buyer will select a model from the Model Village and select a lot. There are usually 10-12 models to select from and regular ¼ acre lots or green space adjoining or golf course upgrades to select from. The new home buyer will schedule a design review where options are selected. Once the non standard features and options are approved, the home construction will begin. This process will typically take 6 months. Once completed, the new home buyer will complete the purchase and move in. The new resident has 90 days to meet the landscape standards and to address window coverings.

The Resale homes are usually available for occupancy in 30- 90 days. These homes are put under contract for a modest amount of Earnest Money with a Title Company. BBS will provide a list of local home inspectors, so one may be selected by the buyer for a detail inspection. During the Option period if there are repairs to be negotiated, an agreement between the Buyer and Seller is drawn up along with a Standard Texas Real Estate contract for the home purchase. The Buyer now has 30 -60 days to arrange for the purchase funds. BBS Realty can show and tell the Buyer about the lifestyle and recommend contacts to get integrated into the Robson Ranch life style. BBS also provides utility contact and contacts for lawn care, housekeeping, plumbers, movers, cabinet makers, handyman and so much more.

Robson Ranch changes homes in the Model Village frequently to ensure there are new designs available.
